Aquatic Environments Inc, (AEI) is California's largest full-service general contractor and consultancy in the rapidly growing fields of wetland restoration, water feature construction, and aquatic maintenance services. Aquatic Environments, Inc. was founded based on a philosophy that an aquatic service company must provide an integrated approach to water management from design through long-term maintenance of these ever-changing environments. Recognizing that busy clients can ill afford the time to organize and manage multiple contractors throughout the life of an aquatic project, AEI has developed competencies and close relationships with leading consultants in all areas of water management. The company boasts an intensively trained field staff and experienced operational and field project managers who are capable of a wide range of projects from consulting on the design of lake aeration systems through large scale remediation projects involving dam and invasive species removal, construction of levees, and long term maintenance to ensure a sustainable habitat for endangered plant and animal species.
AEI has the largest fleet of aquatic vegetation harvesters and several proprietary AquamogTM Mechanical Restoration Systems in the Western United States to complete restorative projects under the most challenging environmental conditions.

We are Class A licensed engineering contractor, possess a Class F Aquatic (Pesticide/Herbicide) Application license, and are one of only four certified Sonar Application Specialists (Preferred Applicator Program) in the Western United States.
